The quality and beautiful markings were so impressive that we couldn’t bring our self’s to cut them into bags, so instead we photographed some of the best and listed them here for you. All of our hides are carefully hand selected, and are “Chrome treated”. This is a process of tanning the hide using Chromium salts, which gives it an amazing luster and shine, it also makes them highly durable, soft and supple. The other exceptional feature of this process is that it makes them very stable in water.
Because of this chrome tanning, everyday care and cleaning is very simple. Dirt and grime can simply be brushed away, and liquids which may ordinarily cause staining can simply be mopped up and then cleaned with a damp cloth or even warm soapy water.
We as you might expect have rugs all over our house, two Labradors, two young children and endless pairs of dirty wellies have tried their worst and still our rugs look as beautiful as the day we put them down.
